Saint John's, Antigua & Barbuda

Hola everyone,

A beautiful day in the island of Antigua with my family😊we got a chance to meet our tour guide named Jessica, and she took us all around the island through the rainforest, sugar plantations, and then to the beaches. She taught us a lot about the history of the island and one of the most fascinating fun facts that we learned is that Antigua has 365 beaches, which means one beach for everyday of the year😃isn’t that so cool you guys?💗

Antigua is also known to be an island that does not have snakes or iguanas, even though it has a rainforest and is in tropical weather all year round.

According to Just Fun Facts,

"The island’s highest point is Mount Obama (formerly Boggy Peak), the remnant of a volcanic crater rising 402 meters (1319 feet). It was known as the Boggy Peak until 4 August 2009, when it was renamed after Barack Obama who has a birthday on this day."

The island has a lot of British influence and is known as one of the islands that make up the West Indies in the Caribbean😊🌸🌷🌺We loved it so much, beautiful experience to be able to learn new things about fascinating places💝
