Hola everyone,
History is one of my favorite subjects, along with culture. There are many places around the world that are simply awe-inspiring, because they are filled with meaning, and they take your breath away.
Today, I got to visit a very beautiful place with my family.
This place is called: Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, containing 17th and 18th century architecture. The Fortress was built in order for the British military to protect the coastline from foreign attacks and it also served as a safe refuge for the citizens in the island back in the day.
According to UNESCO,
A lot of British influence can be seen in the architecture and structure of the fortress, along with beautiful panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea🐠🏝🌷💕a truly beautiful place🌺
Love,
Karina
