A Walk In Venice

Ciao everyone :)

Ahh la mia bellíssima Venezia :) For those who know me, they know that visiting this beautiful city has always been a dream of mine. Being Latina and Italian from my Mom’s side, I have a love for both cultures. The food, the architecture, the art, the music, the people, it’s history, and simply everything.

Venice, Italy, was known to be an important port city of commerce back in the 13th century all the way to the 17th century. Venice was known for imports of grains, spices, and silk. This is what actually took Venice to its wealth throughout history. Venice is also known for the Renaissance Period, the masquerade balls, the beautiful art, and for being the birthplace of one of the best Classical Composers of all time: Antonio Vivaldi.

Art and music is what has made Venice to be everything that it is known to be today. With these two things going hand-in-hand, it has led to be one of the most enchanting places to visit and experience the gondola rides, and it’s delicious cuisine.

I had a beautiful experience. The people here are lovely and everyday there’s a new adventure and something new to look forward to seeing. For those who love art and music, this is a must-go to add to the travel bucket list :)

Have you guys ever been? Tell me about your experience :) If you’re planning to go or would like to and want some tips, let me know :)

Arrivederci,

Karina :)
