Brooklyn Bridge Adventure (NYC)

Hola!!

Crossing the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan to Brooklyn, and from Brooklyn all the way back to Manhattan has been an incredible experience! :) The Brooklyn Bridge is one mile long (5989 ft), and is known as a historical landmark in America as well as the entire world. Many people come here from around the world to be able to bike or walk across the bridge to enjoy the beautiful views of Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The view is spectacular!! But, the history of the Brooklyn Bridge is very impressive and beautiful as well. On my trip to New York City, I got to learn some amazing facts that I never knew before. The first to actually have crossed the Brooklyn Bridge was a rooster, and Emily Warren Roebling carried the rooster across the bridge with President Arthur, in a carriage. Since then, the rooster has been a symbol of good luck.

Also, back in the day, in the times of World War I, compartments in the bridge were used for storing wine. Can you guys imagine that? Un rooster el primero de cruzar el Brooklyn Bridge, y tener vinitosahí guardados también, jajaja tremenda combinación!! lol thats awesome!! :)

I loved being able to have this experience, and anyone that would like to come to NYC deserves to have it too!! You guys will love it :)
